# Adding funds

Open the Wallet screen to see your balance, the address behind it, and the ways money comes in and goes out.

## Your spendable balance

The big figure at the top is how much USDG your primary account can spend right now. Below it sits the Robinhood Chain address connected to your account.

No address linked yet? You'll see a prompt to add one in [Preferences](/guides-for-the-app/preferences.md). External payouts won't work until you do.

## Adding funds

Press **Top up** to put USDG into your primary account. The flow goes like this:

1. Pick a preset amount ($10, $25, $50 or $100) or type your own.
2. Continue. Glade gives you a single-use deposit address on Robinhood Chain.
3. Send USDG to that address from any exchange or EVM wallet. Bridged USDC works too, and usually shows up in around two seconds.
4. Once you've sent it, tap **Transferred**.

From there, Glade watches the chain for the incoming deposit, which typically arrives within a few seconds. When it lands, the balance updates and the panel closes by itself, so there's no need to refresh or wonder whether it went through.

## The numbers under your balance

| Figure              | Meaning                                                          |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Spent this month | Settled outgoing volume from the 1st of the current month onward |
| Total topped up | Everything this account has received from outside Glade |
| Avg settlement time | How long, on average, your settled payments took to become final |

## Recent activity

A short list of the latest payments on your primary account sits on the Wallet screen. Each one shows who it was with, the memo and the time. Incoming money has a down arrow and outgoing money has an up arrow. For a complete view across all your accounts, with filters and receipts, go to [History](/guides-for-the-app/history.md).

Glade doesn't deduct a network fee from what you send. Whatever amount you enter is exactly what arrives, down to the cent.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.useglade.org/guides-for-the-app/topping-up.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
